My main concern on our trip was the long distance scheduling
of motor transportation from airports, hotels, ships, etc. My
concerns turned out to be for naught. The drivers showed up at
every point on time, professionally attired and with well
maintained and appropriate sized vehicles. This allowed us to
breathe a sigh of relief and added to the pleasure of our

George, would get along famously; such a charming personality

Vicky, Stephen was perfectly lovely. The trip from Southampton to
Heathrow was smooth and comfortable. It allowed us to relax and take a
nap. The car was clean and spacious, lots of room for luggage. Felt bad
that he had to wait so long for us to get off the ship. It was a very
slow debarkation process. I use wheelchair assistance, so we were off
earlier than the other passengers with our same colored tags. Can't
imagine when they were able to leave. One thing that came up was
something you do differently than in the US, which caught us a bit
unprepared. In the states, when using a car service, they always have us
sign the credit card receipt, where we can add the gratuity right to the
charge. We hadn't realized that this was not the custom here. We asked
Stephen if there was something to sign and he said no. When we started
looking for our Euros (hadn't thought to exchange into sterling) he said
not to worry about it. We would like to give Stephen a 15% gratuity.
Would you please add that to my American Express card? Thank you for
your with these arrangements. I look forward to recommending Cruise
Drive to all my London bound clients. We'll finalize with Mrs. P. when I
get home. Then I have a few other clients who may need assistance. Best
